Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Auraverse.
Last updated: 2026-07-27
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Auraverse LLC, an Oregon limited liability company (“Auraverse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Auraverse website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Please read Section 15 (Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver) carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved through individual binding arbitration and limits the ways you can seek relief from us, unless you opt out within 30 days as described below.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Content & AI Policy, and DMCA Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference.
2. Eligibility (18+)
The Service is intended only for adults age 18 and older. By using Auraverse, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the Service. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or terminate it. The Service is not directed to children. The Service is offered from the United States and is intended for users located in the United States.
3. The Service
Auraverse is a platform where users discover, listen to, and interact with fictional, AI-generated music artists. The artists, their personas, voices, songs, lyrics, conversations, and visuals are produced using machine-learning models and are not real people. Any conversation you have on the Service is with an AI system, not a human. Some features are available only on certain subscription tiers. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
4. Accounts
You need an account to use most features. Account creation and authentication are handled by our identity provider. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk or legal exposure for us or others.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Auraverse offers a free tier and one or more paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) through our third-party payment processor, and automatically renew until cancelled. You authorize us and our processor to charge your payment method for each billing period.
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain paid access until then.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
- We may change prices or plan features. We will give advance notice of material price changes, which take effect on your next renewal. Continuing to use a paid plan after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
- Metered voice usage. Voice conversations include a monthly minute allowance on paid plans. If you use up your allowance, you may choose to continue at a per-minute overage rate, billed through our payment processor based on your metered usage. Usage-based charges apply only with your prior, explicit consent, and the current per-minute rate is shown in-product before you enable overage billing.
6. Advertising
The Service is ad-supported on its free tier. Signed-out visitors and free accounts may be shown advertising — for example, video ads in the listening feed and audio ads between songs. Paid Patron plans are ad-free; an ad-free experience is a feature of a paid plan and is not promised on the free tier. We may change ad formats, placements, frequency, and the mix of our own promotions and third-party network ads at any time, and we may introduce or remove advertising on any surface of the Service.
Advertiser content is not ours. Ads, sponsored messages, and any linked destinations are supplied by advertisers or advertising networks. Their appearance on the Service is not an endorsement, recommendation, or verification by us of the advertiser, its products, or its claims. We are not responsible for advertiser content or sites, and any dealings you have with an advertiser — including payment and delivery — are solely between you and that advertiser. See also Section 11 (Third-party services).
No ad fraud or interference. You must not:
- click, tap, or otherwise interact with ads other than as a genuine viewer, including clicking your own or a sponsor’s ads to inflate performance;
- use bots, scripts, automation, emulators, click farms, incentivized traffic, or any other artificial means to generate ad requests, impressions, or clicks, or to misrepresent the source or nature of traffic;
- tamper with, remove, or obscure ad labels or sponsor identification, or otherwise interfere with ad delivery or measurement, including circumventing skip timers, frequency caps, or plan-based ad eligibility.
Invalid ad activity may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and reversal of any related payouts or credits, in addition to our other rights under these Terms.
Privacy and consent. What we and our advertising partners collect in connection with ads, what advertisers never receive, and how advertising consent works are described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
7. AI-generated content and disclaimers
All artists and outputs on Auraverse are AI-generated and provided for your personal entertainment. Generated content may occasionally resemble existing works or real-world subjects coincidentally; it is not a statement of fact about any real person. Conversational outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, financial, or other advice. Your interactions with the Service are subject to our Content & AI Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Among other things, you must not harass, abuse, or harm others; generate or solicit prohibited content; infringe intellectual property; reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; circumvent access or usage limits; engage in the ad-related conduct prohibited by Section 6; or use the Service to violate any law. Prohibited content and conduct are described in our Content & AI Policy. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
9. Your content and license to us
“Your Content” means the messages, prompts, and other material you submit to the Service. You retain whatever rights you have in Your Content. You grant Auraverse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and use Your Content as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including to power features such as conversational memory and personalization. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that Your Content does not violate these Terms or any law.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the “Auraverse” name and logos, is owned by Auraverse LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. Ownership and permitted uses of AI-generated audio and other outputs are addressed in our Content & AI Policy. For good-faith claims of copyright infringement, see our DMCA Policy.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, authentication, payments, hosting, AI model providers, and advertising and consent platforms). Your use of those features may be subject to the providers’ own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or content.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or suitable for any purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auraverse and its members, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auraverse and its members, officers, employees, and suppliers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
15. Dispute resolution; arbitration; class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. Most disputes can be resolved without formal proceedings. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at support@auraverse.fm and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Auraverse agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its applicable rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
Class-action waiver. You and Auraverse agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims. You and Auraverse waive any right to a jury trial.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@auraverse.fm within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name and that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 15, any matter not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account from your account settings (Settings → Privacy). Deletion is staged: your account is deactivated and any paid subscription is cancelled immediately, and your remaining data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. During the grace period you may reactivate your account; memories already erased as part of the deletion request are not restored. Accounts that own platform resources (such as artists or creator tools) cannot self-delete and must contact support. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service, other users, or us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice to active accounts. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
